| ◆入国管理関係ニュース |
（１）上陸審査時に外国人（特別永住者，１６才未満の者等の免除事由該当者を除く。） に入国審査窓口において両手の指紋と顔写真の提供（指紋読取機器及びデジタルカメラで撮影）を義務付ける規定を新設し，これを平成１９年１１月２０日からに実施します。
目的はテロリストをより確実に水際で発見し，テロを未然に防止するためです。日本において在留資格を有し一時帰国した在留外国人も、再入国の際に適用されますのでご留意ください。
（２）大阪入国管理局が移転し、平成１９年１２月２５日より業務が開始されます。詳しくは、こちら。
（１）The amended Immigration Control Act includes provisions intended for
the prevention of terrorist attacks. More specifically, This Act has established
a new procedure at the landing examination, foreign nationals (excluding
special permanent residents, persons under the age of 16, and others specified
as eligible for exemption) are required to submit fingerprints and a photograph
of the face. The new procedure shall be put into operation from November
20, 2007. For further information, please ask the Immigration Bureau.
